Our GHG reporting tool simplifies the process of report creation for the sustainability portion of OASIS+, ALLIANT 3 and future government RFPs. The tool simplifies the data input, performs the calculations, and outputs the report in Microsoft Word for editing and posting on your company’s website, thereby meeting the government’s requirement of self-attestation for companies in the un-restricted bidding pool.
To Qualify for Sustainability Points on OASIS+ using our app:
- Collect the data from your utility bills, vehicle usage, etc.,
- Enter your data and generate the report
- Post the report to your website.
To access the tool go to https://ghg.rturner.net/login and input your company, email and choose a password. Then click Sign-Up. On the next screen input your license key you received at the time or purchase and click apply. You will then have full access to the tool.
The GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard establishes standards and guidelines for businesses and other organizations creating a corporate-level GHG emissions inventory. The standard covers the accounting and reporting of seven greenhouse gasses covered by the Kyoto Protocol
- carbon dioxide (CO2),
- methane (CH4),
- nitrous oxide (N2O),
- hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs),
- perfluorocarbons (PCFs),
- sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) and
- nitrogen trifluoride (NF3).
The building of a company’s GHG inventory is divided into 3 sections, Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3. Details on each scope can be found at the EPA’s website for Scope 1 and Scope 2 Inventory Guidance | US EPA Tools and guidance for low emitters and small businesses to develop an organization-wide GHG inventory and establish a plan to ensure GHG emissions data consistency for tracking progress towards reaching an emissions reduction goal.
